The garden is wet with rain.

Is it still raining?

May I see?

It is well past your bedtime.

Can’t I stay up late?

Why can’t I?

I sit by the fire and read.

What are you reading?

Is it good?

The middle of fall will be a feast

We’ll press the cider and cheer

Food for us all, both man and beast

Is the harvest so near?

  1. I confess I'm quite impressed with how your tackling these forms. You are truly inspiring me and when April's challenge is over, I'm absolutely going to have a go at trying to write some. Sounds like a fun May project to me.
