Q - Quinzaine and Questrain

  The poetry form Quinzaine is composed of 15 unrhymed syllables.   7/5/3 line 1 makes a statement lines 2 and 3 ask a question relating to the statement    My three attempts at quinzaines:  https://pixabay.com/fr/photos/la-pluie-fleurs-dynamique-gouttes-4236342/ The garden is wet with rain. Is it still raining? May I see?   It is well past your bedtime. Can’t I stay up late? Why can’t I?     I sit by the fire and read. What are you reading? Is it good?   🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃  The Questrain is another form involving questions.  It is syllabic and rhymed. 4 lines lines 1, 2, 3 keep to the topic, line 4 asks a question regarding the topic 9/7/8/6 rhyme pattern abab Harvest Festival The middle of fall will be a feast We’ll press the cider and cheer Food for us all, both man and beast Is the harvest so near?   ©2021 Lisa Smith Nelson.
