T - Taste Every Word Twice

A few years ago there was a prompt somewhere, "Taste Every Word Twice."  I posted, then removed it for some reason I don't remember.  I liked the idea of tasting our words before speaking, making sure they will be palatable, well seasoned, as it were, so reworked it from the original.   Maybe not so much as a poem as good advice! 


Take care with words,

chew them well,

lest you choke 

as they come 

back up.

 

Taste every word twice.

They’ll be bitter if

later

you’re forced to swallow them

back down.
