It didn’t matter that it had been raining all day.  And all night.  And all the previous day.  No, what mattered is that it wasn’t raining now.  Hallelujah!  Anyone with kids will understand; rainy day cabin fever is a thing!

So, pull on the gaudy pink galoshes with lemon yellow duckies, slap on the matching hat, and grab the slicker.

To the playground to splash in the puddles, slide down the slippery rain wet slide, and howl to the sky!

The kids can stay home with Dad!  This is MY time!
