A - April Once Again

It’s April once again!
The apple tree’s in bloom!

The tulips too,
and purple hyacinth.

Sparaxis, quince
great swaths of orange poppies.

The long dim days of March
have ceded to the sun.

See!

Rejoice! April brings not May’s,
but flowers of her own!

  1. Nice! I have daffodils, forsythia, and hyacinths, but it will be a long time before I see poppies. (Maybe by the end of the month?)
