Thanks. I think my problem with gift cards is when people don't bother to think of what someone may like. And, for children. My son went to a birthday party once, elementary school age kids, and he was the ONLY one who had brought a wrapped present! The rest were gift cards, some not even in an envelope, just handed to him. I think kids especially like to open presents.
