In days you darkened,

you call out “fraud!”

That doesn’t make you right,

just loud.

What you call proud words

are sheer craven sedition.

You can try to hide your failure, or

deny your complicit treason,

but, it won’t stay hidden long.

Truth will as a storm

breaking the rotten branch

to save the tree.

Afterwards the sun will shine again

and the tree flourish.
