B - Broken Eggs

BROKEN EGGS

“Don’t put all your eggs in one basket,” I’ve heard it said.
As with any pursuit of man,
God listens, laughs, and throws his wrench.

  1. Love that last line...so true. I have stopped using the words "my plan is"; it just doesn't mean anything.

    1. My mother used to say, "Never say never." And then an example of having said she'd never live in a certain city, yet was when her first child was born! For me, when reading about someone who eats squirrel (nothing against you if you do!), I say, "I hope I never have to." Because, you never know, right?!

    1. Yes, as the post below makes clear, the "best laid plans..." I guess we all need a plan B and C, maybe more.

  5. What a great theme idea! Happy A-Z! So true, I've also heard it said: "The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry." - Robert Burns (Dragons & Spaceships)

    1. It's true. Plans often fail to come to fruition. I don't believe a heavenly wrench is thrown in their works, but sometimes it feels like it!

    1. So it would seem! Personally, I put it down to just stuff happens!
