A - April Blogging
APRIL BLOGGING
Our April’s full
with order
daily letters A –
Z.
The pressure’s on,
the days pass by.
What will we do
for P?
Or better
question,
What of X?
That letter stumbles most.
Xylophones and
X-rays…
overused but not
complex.
We get through Z
and breathe a sigh
Of pure unbridled
bliss.
Tempted to forgo
next year,
but… it’s
something we can’t miss!

Love your theme and stretching to share publicly something that's been more private. Sounds like a perfectly wonderful challenge. Great first entry, and I look forward to following you through the alphabet.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm a bit embarrassed by A and Z, they are rather silly!
DeleteLisa,
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent poem and so very true to the end! You're an awesome versesmith. Thanks for visiting today's Little Mermaid art sketch post feature character Ariel! Happy A2Zing!
Ha, the end! I wasn't going to do it this year, but here I am!
DeleteGood to see you being brave! And it was a great start! I recognized a lot of my own thoughts in your verse. Sounds like you have your posts all finished already?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement! Yes, I do have my posts ready. I was busy in March! I did't want to risk having nothing for some of the odder letters.
DeleteYou've perfectly captured the feeling of participating in A to Z. Asking for Help to Avoid Burnout
ReplyDeleteI'm glad others share the trepidation!
DeleteHaha, very true! :D X was a hard one this year...
ReplyDeleteHappy A to Z!
The Multicolored Diary
It will be interesting to read how some of the bloggers handle X, that's for sure!
DeleteWhat a cute little poem! I'm excited to see what else you come up with over the challenge!

Thanks! I liked your Bunny story! That happens way too often, with rabbits and Guinea pigs!
DeleteBrilliant poem and yes, X is definitely the worst letter to think of something for
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Thanks. With poetry X is easier than with other themes, I think.
DeleteLove this poem! So true!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.
Thanks!
DeleteALMOST decided to forgo this year. But this is year 8. I can't miss year 8. Cute poem!

Thank you. I had decided at the end of last year to not do it again! I couldn't resist.
DeleteI love your poems!
