I - I
I
I want to forgive
I want to forget
But neither’s in our
stars.
Not yours, not mine
The cards are dealt
to question isn’t
ours.
I loved you once
I loved you twice
And then you went
away.
I pay the price
for my neglect
And rue that awful
day.
