Meet Me at the Station

 Tanka Tuesday No. 281

Today's ekphrasic prompt comes from Willow Willer.  My choice of syllabic form is a reverse nonet.

Let's

travel

together,

run off alone,

take the Eurostar.

Meet me at the station,

you know just where I will be,

standing below The Meeting Place

at London St. Pancras Station.

    1. Thank you. The sculpture has an interesting origin, and online photos of its base are amazing.

  4. Oh, this is stunning, Lisa. The sculpture is so interesting. I can imagine the man saying all of this to the woman! 💜

    1. Sort of mysterious, I wonder where they'll go? I didn't look up destinations from that station. We could make up an entire story about the two of them!
