Write a complete story, beginning, middle, and end with 100 words.  (...or less, but I always strive for exactly 100, it's my personal challenge!)

100 words

 

“There you have it!”  His fork stabbed the photo.

“The perfect pitcher!  Women can’t drive worth a damn!  She mistook the excelerator for the brake!  That’s all she wrote!  I know... it ain’t politically correct to say women are bad drivers,” he waved away any unlikely argument from his buddies in the cafe.

The waitress, setting down his lunch, ruined his day.   Pointing out the driver’s name, she said, “Fred, you’re the village idiot.  The driver’s French, HIS name is Rene!”

Fred turned as red as the catsup on his burger, as his buddies roared, slapping him on the back.
