Hehehe! Short and sweet, and exactly on point. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteGreat yes love can cloud your judgement very much
ReplyDeleteIt certainly can, and often does.
DeleteOh dear! LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! indeed!
DeleteYou have fitted the prescribed words into your poem very adroitly.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteExcellently done! Many things cloud judgement but love and anger seems to top them all.
ReplyDeleteSo true! I think love might be worse in the way we can't be talked out of poor decisions, we are blinded by the love to any warnings.
DeleteHope that ink can be turned into something less rueful.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too! :)
DeleteI always laugh when I see an old lovers name and then a black line through it. Better to put a symbol - flower - even zodiac sign !
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think of the joke where one only dates people with the same name as the tattoo! In real life that would put me off dating them though.
DeleteThis is so well written with so few words ...a talent for brevity
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeleteI love the light-heartedness of this poem and the way you interpreted the prompt - bravo! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was fun.
