Friday Writings: 182: Anger As (Healthy) Fuel

LA Burning 3 - edition 2/40 by Linda Lyke, in author's collection

My fury burns hot,

leaving nothing but ash

blown off by my searing breath.

That is you, the ash,

whisked away from my life,

I’m all the better for it.

  1. So true, Lisa. Also I believe "life goes on." Personally, I get hurt instead of having anger. Probably a BTW, Mrs Jim and I have never been angry at the other, nor hurt badly. We've been been married 52 years. I was very hurt when my ex dumped me for one of her students. Their marriage did not last a year, I was glad of that for our children's sake.

  2. That's a red-hot anger that has drastic and effective results! Bravo!
