  1. Oh, I learned something new - I wasn't aware the lune is also known as the American Haiku nor did I know about the variants - Collom and Kelly. Beautifully written poems, Lisa.

    1. Thank you. In April I did the A to Z Bloggers challenge of poetry forms, so learned about Lune then. It's nice to have a word count option once in a while.

  2. Lisa, these are both brilliant. I'm with Franci... I didn't know the lune is considered to be American haiku. The Collom is not syllabic though, it's counted by the number of words. The Kelly lune poems are 3-5-3 syllabic versions. What fun. I actually looked these up.
