That's fantastic! You made me laugh. I loved it!

It's all too true! Just to the left of the edge of the photo is the carport, with the kitchen door. We use that one. It's closer, and usually where we'd be going in the house first anyway.
DeleteThis is excellent, Lisa. I do the same thing. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
Delete*Grin.* My hermit self loves it.
ReplyDeleteSee the little window in the door? Well, since there is a little step up into the house, it's possible to see the top of door knocker's heads out that without them knowing! They aren't looking up, usually glancing back from where they came! I am not sociable!
DeleteLove your poem. I’ve been known to ignore knocks and rings.
ReplyDeleteAs you should do! Phones are a different issue. Calls or texts, and voice mails. You just can't pretend you aren't home when the phone rings like the old days!
DeleteI love this, I do the same thing ,:)
ReplyDeleteSo glad I'm not the only one who does that kind of screening. 😁
ReplyDeletePerfect senryu, too.
Unfortunately it's often necessary to ignore the strangers
