Blogging from A to Z April Challenge 2020 Reflections

Reflecting on the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge here on The Versesmith is a bit redundant.
No, totally redundant.
I have another blog

where I participated also, and wrote a Reflections post.
You can use the above link to access that, and see what blogs I enjoyed, etc.

I thank the returning viewers who commented on many of my posts.
All in all, it's a good thing I enjoy writing poetry, enjoyed the challenge and didn't do it for visits!
Too many of my posts had zero comments, and very few views.
Is it poetry?
Is it my poetry?
Who knows?
It's okay though, with 510 blogs to check out I didn't get to a lot of them, and don't want those bloggers to take it personally, so I won't!

I enjoy writing poetry, but setting a goal of one a day doesn't lend itself to my best work!
I will be participating in the A - Z next year, but only on my gardening blog.

  1. Congratulations.
I think the running theme for this year is Less Comments/Fewer Likes or Views.

    Tale Spinning

    1. Thank you. I need to go take a look at your blog, it was one lost in the 510 shuffle!

  2. Writing one a day is a strenuous task. I write after long gaps and the urge comes suddenly and a thought is formed. I am not professional writer.

  3. Yes, that does seem the way poetry comes, in urges when words and thoughts come. Forcing them one a day is harder!
